# Title: Auricle: A Multimodal Wearable Sensing Dataset for Cardiovascular and Hemodynamic Assessment ------------------------------------- # Description: Auricle is a dataset comprising synchronous noninvasive cardiovascular signals collected from 42 healthy subjects (HC: Healthy Cohort) and 28 people with lived experience of heart failure (HFC: Heart Failure Cohort). Most participants in the healthy cohort completed two 30-minute sessions on different days. During each session, participants performed at least three types of activities to alter their cardiovascular function. The dataset includes nine physiological channels including: - Electrocardiography - Phonocardiography - Seismocardiography (IMU) - Photoplethysmography (Finger) - Photoplethysmography (Ear) - Binaural In-Ear Cardiac Audio - Continuous Arterial Pressure - Respiratory Effort Several derived hemodynamic channels are available including: - Cardiac Output - Stroke Volume - Systemic Vascular Resistance Two annotation types are also included as channels. These include: - Activity-Annotations: Describes participant activity including stressors and rest. - CNAP-System-Annotations: Any annotations generated by the CNAP device. Finally demographic data is available. Some demographic data is only available for one of the two cohorts. These data include: - All Cohorts --- Height --- Weight --- Age - Healthy Cohort Only --- Sensor and body landmark position - Heart Failure Cohort Only --- Previous Myocardial Infarction --- Previous Hypertension --- Previous Diabetes Mellitus --- Previous Atrial Fibrillation --- Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator --- Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy --- Heart Failure Aetiology --- LV ejection fraction --- NYHA Class --- Medication Regimen ------------------------------------- # Dataset: / ├── demographics.csv # Demographic data (described above). ├── sensor_coordinates.csv # A list of spatial coordinates (in centimeters) describing the location of anatomical landmarks and sensors extracted from images. ├── activity_labels.csv # A list of numeric values associated with cardiovascular stressor activities. These are referenced in each session's "Activity-Annotations" channel. ├── RECORDS # List of all WFDB records. ├── README.txt # This file. └── data/ ├── {cohort_id}_{subject_num}_{session_num}/ │ ├── {cohort_id}_{subject_num}_{session_num}.dat # WFDB (https://wfdb.io/) file including physiological and annotation data as channels │ ├── {cohort_id}_{subject_num}_{session_num}.hea # WFDB header file │ ├── {cohort_id}_{subject_num}_{session_num}/ │ └── ... │ ├── {cohort_id}_{subject_num}_{session_num}/ │ └── ... ...
